Happy New Year everyone.

Its that time of year again when subs are due. If you do not pay by regular standing order and wish to pay via BACS, please pay via EMDG Sort Code 205021 Account Number 00201103, putting your membership number in the payment details and also state "M Fee". We are hoping that next year we can provide online membership via our new website, watch this space.

It was agreed at the Annual General Meeting that due to the rise in affiliation fees payable to the BRC (£12.50 per member + nominal amount of £160) our membership fees will unfortunately increase to £25 from 1.1.20. We have held the amount of £20 for over 20 years but is no longer sustainable to continue to provide the excellent service we give to our members and is in line with neighbouring clubs.

Wishing you all a successful, happy and safe 2019!

East Midlands Dressage Group are the British Riding Clubs club of the year!!!

This award is because you, our members, have been successful across all disciplines and qualified for every championship.

This award is for all our wonderful members without whom we could not achieve what we do as a riding club.

We were honoured to attend the BHS awards ceremony in London at the Saddlers Hall and receive our award from Martin Clunes, BHS President.

We are so very proud of our club and this a real feather in our cap.

Payments:

Please be aware that where possible, payments for clinics, training, teams etc to be made via BACS. Please ensure you put an appropriate reference (i.e., clinic date) when paying by this method so that your payment can be matched to the appropriate clinic etc.

Please note the new 2018 BRC body protector standards. As of 01/01/2018, members taking part in any clinic, competition etc run by a British Riding Club, all body proctors must meet the required standard in order to be covered by the BRC insurance i.e., 2009 purple.

Please note due to a change in policy, Osberton estate now no longer allows dogs on training days or competition days.  This however does not eliminate dogs at Summer Camp, but new rules for camp and dogs will be brought in.  Would all members and non members attending any clinic or competition please leave dogs at home and not in your vehicle.  This is an Osberton Estate ruling not EMDG and we do not want to lose the wonderful venue and facilities we all enjoy.

Many thanks everyone.                        Jan Pollard
